Individual Health Insurance

If you are an individual or family who does not currently have insurance through a group employer plan, our agency can walk you through your individual health plan options.

If you’ve ever tried to decipher health insurance plans on your own, you may have noticed that there are dozens of different plan types, and multiple providers who offer them.

Health Insurance Plan Variables

When deciding which plan is best, there are multiple variables that impact the final cost. During our meeting or phone call, we’ll discuss things like:

  • Deductible options
  • Co-insurance percentages
  • Waiting Periods
  • Exclusions & Conditions

Short Term Medical

Short-term health insurance gives you temporary coverage during a lapse in permanent coverage, protecting you from expensive medical bills that arise from unexpected health changes or emergencies. You are eligible for short-term health insurance if you:

  • Change jobs
  • Lose employer-sponsored coverage
  • Are waiting for the annual Open Enrollment Period
  • Attend out-of-state college
  • Other specific instances

Temporary health insurance can provide you proof of coverage you need to participate in various activities or vocations. If you need temporary coverage, our licensed eHealth insurance agents will find the right plan for your specific needs!

Disability

Disability insurance pays a portion of your income if you can’t work for an extended period because of an illness or injury.

Disability policies vary in how they define “disabled.” Some policies pay out only if you can’t work any job for which you’re qualified. Others pay out if you can’t perform a job in your occupation. Some policies cover partial disability, which means they pay a portion of the benefit if you can work part time. Others pay only if you can’t work at all.

Long-Term Care

Long-Term Care (LTC) insurance is one option many people choose to provide financial protection when they can no longer perform the most basic functions of daily activity. LTC insurance coverage in Pennsylvania provides services in your home, a medical facility or a combination of the two.

Critical Care

Critical Illness can strike at any time. We’ve all heard stories of friends or family members who have been affected by a serious illness. What we don’t hear is how the financial strain may also have a major impact during this trying time.

A primary health insurance plan may cover some health care costs, but oftentimes the patient will face other challenges such as paying everyday living expenses while out of work. That’s when a Critical Illness plan can come into play.
